I am currently accepting students only in the Boston area.
Experience I have been teaching private lessons since 2000 and have taught students of all ages and levels, from 3 to 55 years old. Many of my students are currently members of youth orchestras, and have earned section-leader positions in their orchestras.
Lesson fees* 30-minute lesson: $25 *Please ask about my rates for Brookline Public School students.
Policies 1. 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons may be scheduled once a week, twice, a week, or every other week. 2. Lesson payments for the entire month are due at the first lesson of each month. I accept cash (in the exact amount) or checks, made payable to Emily Stewart. 3. If you need to cancel a lesson, please call at least 24 hours ahead of the lesson time. We will find a time to reschedule, or if no other time is available, your payment will be credited to the next month. If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson or do not come to the lesson without notifying me, no make-up lesson will be arranged and you will still be charged for the missed lesson. 4. I do not refund lesson payments, but I do credit payments to the next month if I have to cancel a lesson and cannot reschedule during that week. If I have to cancel, I will let you know as far ahead of time as possible.
